2305 using pallet forks to move new 50″ blast cabinet
I picked up a ‘Craigslist new’ 50″ blasting cabinet which was probably around 500 Lbs total as it sat. It had about 200-250 Lbs of blast media in it alone ( I know because I had to change it all and it filled my 49″ bucket to the point of overflowing). To get the cabinet home, I just threw the JD 2305 onto the trailer with my pallet forks on it, plucked the cabinet out of the previous owners garage, and drove it up onto the trailer for the ride home. The whole venture was over within an hour, thanks to my pallet forks

Using the pallet forks on my 2305 to unload a skid from my pickup bed
The latest order of frame plates, laser cut, just arrived and, at 250Lbs, had to be unloaded using these trusty pallet forks on my John Deere 2305. I would normally have done this much more quickly, but was down to one hand with the other running the camera. For more information about these pallet forks, go to webpages.charter.net

From the supplier: A photograph of New York State equipment dealer Clyde Rodgers using a skid steer loader without a protective structure nor a seat belt on illustrates the little attention dealers and customers pay to safety equipment. In 1991, rollovers caused 2.7 fatalities per 100,000 tractors, with 4.3 overturns per 100,000 tractors. The dealer can also be held liable for injury or death of the operator. Thus, dealers should insure that each used or new tractor that leaves the lot are equipped with safety equipment and come with an owner’s manual.
